Germany – Bergmann Kalk: parent company of the maxit Group

For decades, maxit has been synonymous with a large number of products and services for the construction industry and the building trade. Starting in 1978 – with three employees – in Azendorf as a collaboration between lime works Bergmann and Mathis, Franken Maxit has developed over the last 30 years into an internationally active company with almost 800 employees at nine locations, and a sales volume of approximately 190 million euros. Today, the dry mortar plant in Azendorf alone is one of the largest companies in the industry in Germany.

Maxit produces dry mortar and mixtures of binders, aggregates, and additives for the construction industry in state-of-the-art plants, and offers a comprehensive product range for the fields of shell construction, finishing, and façades. Whether internal and external plasters, colored plasters, paints, flooring, or thermal insulation composite systems: more than 3,500 tons of plasters, screeds, and paints leave the production facilities of the maxit Group every day in various containers, either as bagged goods in small and large quantities or in our specially developed silo systems.
